Kenisola Ajuwon, MD

Dr. Ajuwon is a respected pediatrician at Airline Children & Women’s Health Center.

Susan Fernandes, MD

Dr. Fernandes is a pediatrician at Airline Children & Women’s Health Center.  Equipping parents with the knowledge and tools they can use to prevent illness and keep their children healthy is one of her priorities.

Chantel Morey, MD

Dr. Morey is a pediatrician at Airline Children & Women’s Health Center. Getting to know her patients and their families is at the heart of her approach in promoting the well-being of children throughout their development.

Nora Saavedra, MD

Dr. Saavedra is a pediatrician at Airline Children & Women’s Health Center. Her young patients and their families consistently praise her high level of care.

Chief Medical Officer Dr. Enjoli Benitez

Enjoli Benitez, MD

Dr. Benitez leads the medical staff of Vecino Health Centers and is a Faculty Physician for the Houston Methodist Family Medicine Residency Program.

Dr. Irma Tamayo

Irma Tamayo, MD

Dr. Tamayo is an attending physician at Vecino Health Centers. Patients appreciate her ability to understand what they are going through and the time she takes to explain their issues.

Kaizeen Mody, MD

An attending physician at Vecino Health Centers, Dr. Mody, has specialized training in obstetrics. She provides care to women before and during their pregnancy, delivery, and after birth and is the doctor for their babies.  

Behavioral Health (Counseling)

 

Clara Rosenzweig, M.Ed.

Clara Rosenzweig, M.Ed.

Mrs. Rosenzweig is the director of counseling services for Vecino Health Centers. She completed her undergraduate studies in clinical psychology at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and received a Master’s of Education in Counseling degree from the University of Houston. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-Approved Supervisor in the state of Texas.

She has been a guest lecturer at the University of Houston in the areas of trauma, cross-cultural counseling, and family therapy, and she has led an experiential training group in therapy process for Master’s-level counseling students.

Mrs. Rosenzeweig’s bilingual and bicultural background in counseling and behavioral health has been instrumental in establishing services to meet the needs of Vecino’s pediatric patients and their families.

As one of Vecino Health Centers, Airline Children & Women’s Health Center is recognized as Health Center Quality Leader at the gold tier for quality by the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services.

The gold tier is limited to the top 10 percent of over 1,400 health centers nationwide.

 

 

Airline Children & Women’s Health Center is part of the Vecino Health Centers network, a Federally Qualified Health Center.

Vecino Health Centers is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254B and a deemed Public Health Service Employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n).

This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal PHS deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
