Telehealth visit for children

Many conditions experienced by infants, children, and teens  — including allergies, constipation, and anxiety — can be treated with an online pediatric visit through our telehealth platform.

Telehealth services are available to all new and established patients of Airline Children’s Clinic.

Call to schedule a Telehealth appointment with your child's pediatrician

Your children’s health is our top priority, so now you can get in touch with a pediatrician to address health concerns, or talk to a licensed professional from our counseling staff to help you and your children cope during these stressful times.

What is telehealth?

Telehealth is when you use digital and communications technology – like computers, smartphones, or telephones – to access health care services for your children from home.

During a telehealth appointment, you will be able to talk to your child’s doctor on the phone about any health concerns you may be having. Based on their symptoms and their medical history, the pediatrician may prescribe medications, recommend at-home treatments, or ask you to come to the clinic for further examination.

Vecino’s pediatricians and licensed professionals on the counseling staff can treat many common conditions and injuries through telehealth, including:

  • Allergies
  • Constipation
  • Headaches
  • Heartburn or acid reflux
  • Medication follow-up
  • Pink eye

Counseling for children and teens (Behavioral Health)

  • Anxiety
  • Distruptive behavior disorders
  • Grief

  • Sadness

Answers to common questions about telehealth

Is telehealth covered by my child's insurance?

Telehealth appointments are covered by most insurance plans, including Medicaid and CHIP. If your child doesn’t have insurance, please ask about our Financial Assistance Program.

Is telehealth secure? Is privacy protected?

Yes. Telehealth visits are secure and private. A responsible adult should be present with your child during the telehealth visit. Both the patient and provider should be in a private area, so that others cannot overhear or see anything they shouldn’t.
