The Reading Express is a fun, free “school on wheels” for children 2 months to 4 years old and their parents or caregivers. Come aboard to enjoy books, stories, songs, and activities that make learning fun and help little ones get ready for school.

Learning to read starts early
While children usually start to read in kindergarten, learning to read begins much earlier. Giving your child plenty of chances to hear books and stories, sing songs, and play with letters helps build strong language and social skills that support healthy brain development.

That’s why we’re proud to partner with Literacy Now’s Reading Express Bus, where families can enjoy fun, interactive literacy activities that spark curiosity, strengthen early learning, and get children ready for kindergarten.
