Parenthood is full of firsts. This includes the many things your baby does for the first time, like babble, bring her hands to her mouth, and reach for toys.
These firsts are called developmental milestones. Developmental milestones give you and your pediatrician important information about your child’s growth and learning.
Look for these milestones from your four month old baby*
Every child is different, but here are some things most babies do by the end of their fourth month.
Vecino pediatricians screen for these and other developmental milestones at the four-month Well Child Exam.

*The milestones listed here are just some of the milestones for babies. For a full list of milestones, see the CDC’s Developmental Milestones or talk to your doctor.
